[abujaNig] RE: OLISA POSTING PRIVILEGES SUSPENDED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT (2)
Sat, 1 Apr 2006 10:35:13 -0800 (PST)

Dear Dr. Ojo
Thank for your sport commentary over the tussle of the TITANS. Wallahi Tallahi I dey enjoy am plenti...plenti...From d big turanci and oyinbo grama, I learn some lessons from the logic of d debat. I am reassured that there are no tribalism here ...it is how you present yourself. The quality of Mr. Okala's responses which are fair, straightforward and logical make me to wonder, is this not the man I like to read just to know his latest victims in the forum especially from his OCCASIONAL logical yabbis and sound judgement.
While sanction is deserving to erring member, they can be pardon once they apologise. We need more rich and intelectual members in our forum.

Who says there is TRIBALISM in Nigeria?
Then define this for me:
Olisa Osita, an Igbo, is locked in a mortal cyber-battle where no holds are barred with Dr. Osuji, also an Igbo. Now, Chief Muderator Martin Akindana, more popularly known as 'Matto', a Yoruba local chieftain, wades in to wield his muderator's axe, and silences Olisa. Promptly and expectedly, Chief Lanre Adekeye, a Yoruba and an unbashjed disciple of Olisa Osita's, dumps the blame on poor Professor Aluko (the Muderators' Circle whipping boy), himself also a Yoruba, who now hits back at Chief Lanre Adekeye, a brother Yoruba.
In summa, two Igbo people start a fight among themselves, three Yoruba gentlemen dutifully show up to carry away the coffin and the corpse.
Some tribalism indeed!

Re: [NaijaPolitics] TO MALAM ALHAJI SHUGABA: ON ALUKO: HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Honestly I find it extremely difficult not to laugh as I was reading your response to my brief HARMLESS tribute to a patrotic Nigerian. No wonder you didnt even congratulate him. Probably if he was born on April 1, you could have make lousy noise against him. I am so proud of him that I usually tell people to join this forum because we have the alukos and an interesting Chukwumas &co, the bombblaster. So difficult that to reply was extremely difficult. I think you are amongst the best ALI BABA in writing who can relieve one tension with your treatise, sometime funny contribution, occasionally loaded with logic which need decoder. So I am still asking when will you clock 30 year. Some say full maturity starts at that age. I can then have opportunity to profile you from your contributions here. Or are you very very far from reaching that age?

Malam Alhaji Shugaba:
Sanu da zu wa: I na ku ala, or ine ele ngaji. I ne lekwa amu nafia. Malam Alhaji Shugaba the first time I read of you here was when you were explaining how you are a Journalist and belong to the Royal Suru Gambari family of Ilorin. You were defending the ownership of Ilorin by the Hausas/Fulani’s people. Good for you malam. Before that, the last I heard of you was when Honorable President Shagari deported your ass out of Nigeria as one of the Islamic Jihadist illegal Aliens causing riot upon riot all over Northern Nigeria. Your ass was crated and shipped back to Niger Republic or Chad with truck across the border but Southern Nigerians protest to bring your ass back because you have been too long in Nigeria chewing BULANTASHI and GWORO and marrying many 5-6 wives as young as 13 years. You have enjoyed Nigeria so much that if you were left in Niger republic you would have been dead in two days without BULANTASHI, GWORO and young teenage girls. Now, after you have gained your freedom, it is CHUKWUMA that is going to be your HAND WASHING dish. No way my in law. You have an up hill mountain to climb with me. You don’t pick on some one who didn’t do you anything. You could have wished your oga happy birthday without taking a cheap shot at me. Since you love him so much, I have no problem with that but not at my back. You are biting more than you can chew. I never said anything bad to you here. You cannot insult me because you want to wish some one happy birth day. If you had commented on my article and say all you said above I wouldn’t have a problem with that. Do I take it that you have declared JIHAD on me on because of your oga paptapata or what? If so, I will give you enough BULANTASHI & GWORO to get your ass and JOHN THOMAS strong to play ball with more teenage girls. Se gwo bey. And with this, I rest my case.

Prof. Aluko,
It was in one of the Nigerian weeklies that I read from the brief that a day after April Fool date (April, 2) is your birthday. This is to wish you happy birthday and long life. Your gargatuan contributions to national development and maturity in takling issues make me wonder if you are not older, while your refreshing ideas and arguement especially gainst ethnic jingoists in this forum make you look younger. No matter the subject of your contribution, it is delighting to always read you. I saw your boyish pictures in most of the Nigerian dailies recently on your protest in Washigton against 3rd T. Weldone for identifying with vibrant youth like Chukwuma and for condoling their excesses. I dont miss his contribution too, no matter how silly sometimes. Please do you have idea when he will by 30years of age?

Once again Happy Birthday to a true Democrat and progressive.

[TalkNigeria] Re: [NaijaPolitics] Check out Elendu Reports - Movers and Shakers of the Nigerian Banking Sector
I think the no 23 in your list under Unity Bank, the MD Alh. Falalu Bello is not from SW but NW. Though that couldn't make any difference of North backwardness in banking or economic activities. At least a last position as a number tag which doesnt rubbish it poor performance. That only one chief executive (MD) emerged from the entire North (East, West and Central). I still think the consolidation exercise game was transparent. I wonder how the North was successfully edge out in top executive positions of financial institutions. What a pity! Such TRANSPARENT game can be (or is likely being played) in the political arena.

I commend the South-south and South-westerners for emerging victorious in the financial game.

Those who should think must think or...

VP Atiku's recent outburst against Third Term, is a timely political strategy which has, by the media reports, received tremendous public goodwill. The tense situation is scary we only hope the most senior citizens in Nigeria today will reconcial their differences, if not, we pray for God's intervention to save our nation.
