The Economic Confidential can report that about 75 percent of the 148 award recipients actually occupy top public offices either as appointed or elected figures in the executive, judiciary and legislative arms of government. They include Ministers, governors, legislators, judges and politicians. Some of the awards are actually reserved for some offices too.
